Flat Tracker
The bike in these photos is a exact copy of a bike that Don Castro ran on the AMA circuit back in the late seventies I believe ( please correct me if I am wrong). Triumph 750 Twin with a spool front wheel and a massive disc on the rear. I love the fibreglass body kit and the Velor seat so Rad! I had plans to to a street tracker version of this I had made a mould with some steel rod and took it to a pattern/slash mould maker over in Artarmon. He was going to make another mould so we could fibre glass it. So to cut the story short and sweet I paid the guy some money up front he took my $700.00 cold hard cash bought some beer and did fuck all and the Fuck wit went out of business shut up shop and took my fuckin mould! At the time it happened I was all ready into the rod and I ended up selling the Trumpy to buy parts for the Rod. I hope one day I will get the urge to do it again. I still got all the measurements and the real tail loop that I cut and shut. One day maybe after various other projects!!!

A selection of Finks!
I am alive and I will start posting soon!!!
Hey All,
Sorry for not posting anything for a while but I kinda got busy with work and the blog got left behind. I have been working on the Rod and bike lately enjoying the fruits of my labour with driving and riding alot. After the RATFNK build it consumed me so much that when it was finished I was like need a break and enjoy what I have just finished. So the last year I have been enjoying the car taking the girls out in it been to a heaps of shows and drag race days and just enjoying having it. I worked on my mate Squizzy's car he other week on a Get Shit Done Day with Benny and myself and it has got me fired up to start the truck build. I just needed a kick up the date to get me going again. I will also finish the story of my build soon too. For those who have been looking at the page thanks for checking me out. I will start posting more regularly and I will also post pictures of up and coming projects and other cool shit. Hey Pablo a little Hemi action for ya and by the way Vote 99!!!!!Cheers

THE BEST MOVIE EVER!!!!
The best thing about Blogger is learning about other people's take on thing's that I love. A few weeks ago Guy from Greasy Kulture magazine spoke about "On any Sunday" and inreference to the hill climb section of the movie. I remember when I was 5 and I just started doing dirt track racing on a pee wee 50 and Dad took me into the George Street cinema's to see a movie. Mum said it would be a waste of time because I would not sit still but Dad said he would take me and he reckoned that I would not be a problem. I remember sitting there and the start kids were doing wheelies on the Bmx bikes I was like yeah cool then the movie started and Mert wearing a suit and I started saying to Dad this is boring then all of a sudden I heard that big V twin Harley flat track motor and Mert laying it out I was glued to the screen, did not ove for the entire length of the movie. This movie is started my love of bikes and racing and still to this day I love them, watch them and ride them. Thanks to Guy for reminding me of the movie I love so much, I grabbed it out of the cupboard watched it three time and told a mate that I had it now he has got it and watched four to five times. Best movie ever and the memories it brings are priceless!!! Cheers Lukefink
I'M BACK!!!!
Hello Bloggersphere,Been absolutley smashed with work had no time to do anything so writing the Blog has not been a massive priority. As stated on the last post I have moved workshop to a bigger one and my mate Georgio has moved in with me and over the last month I have been setting up the new shop. I will be posting pic of the new work shop soon and I am thinking of having a shindig very soon down there. Hot Rod has been real solid been driving it alot lately. RAT DAY is on this weekend so I am looking forward to it. Can't wait to catch up with the Boys and us all getting out for a cruise. I also have a new purchase which I shall tell you about, the EK is in real bad shape with not much to work with really. I had planned to put big horse power in it but the rust was a real BIG problem. So we have started to gut it and store the stuff we want and the rest will go to anyone who wants it or the scrap yard. So the Gasser has been shelved for the next project which all I can say right now is BIG BLOCK TIME!!!!! Yeehaa!!!!!CheersLukefink
